The Department of Public Works is here to maintain the appearance of Pittston Township to make the residence and business owners proud of their community. Our employees take great pride in their job. The Department’s success relies on the specialized clusters that handle different functions within the township.

Public Works workers maintain Township roads and surrounding areas, including parks used for recreation.    Brush and grass and leaf pickup collection at the curbside of each residence  takes place in the spring and summer of each year.   A calendar indicating start and ending dates will be posted when it becomes available.
