The Township Tax Collector is elected every four years and must reside in the Township. Section 1001 of the Second Class Township Code provides for the powers and duties of the Tax Collector. The TOWNSHIP tax collector shall collect all county, township, school, institution district.

Discount period for 2022-2023 Pittston Area School Taxes has ended.

Upcoming Tax office hours at the Pittston Township Municipal Building are Mondays: October 31st, November 21st and December 19th from 5pm-7pm.

2022-23 School tax face amount is due 09/20/2022 to 11/21/2022; payments mailed with a postmark no later than November 21st are accepted as timely paid at face amount.

2022-23 School tax penalty amount is due 11/22/2022 to 12/31/2022.  All payments made after 12/15/2022 must be by official bank check or money order.

2022 County/Municipal payments are now payable at penalty. Last day for payment for 2022 County/Municipal is 12/31/2022.  Payments made after 12/15/2022 must be by official bank check or money order.

*Please do not combine School and County/Municipal payments on the same check.*
