The Township Tax Collector is elected every four years and must reside in the Township. Section 1001 of the Second Class Township Code provides for the powers and duties of the Tax Collector. The TOWNSHIP tax collector shall collect all county, township, school, institution district.
PITTSTON TOWNSHIP REAL ESTATE TAX COLLECTOR
All collection of 2022 County/Municipal and Pittston Area School Taxes by the
Pittston Twp Tax Collector has ended.
Any unpaid taxes as of December 31, 2022 have been sent to the Luzerne County
Tax Claim Bureau c/o Elite Revenue, 200 River St, Wilkes Barre, PA 18711. 570-
The 2023 County/Municipal real estate tax bills are expected to be mailed in late
February 2023. If you do not receive your bill by mid-March 2023 or if you have
any questions, please contact the tax collector by phone at 570-569-2385 or
Tax office hours will be listed at a later date, when an official issue date for the
2023 County/Municipal real estate tax bills has been released.
